Earning Money on Firehow

I have been doing fairly well on Firehow, and making money regularly. I know that a lot of people have been negative about the site, but I think it is worth the time to get a decent residual income. I have a total of around 100 articles and make payout regularly. I average $3 per 1000 views, which is quite a bit more than my earnings on Yahoo Voice. I had stopped submitting as many articles because I read all of the negative comments about the site, but I have learned for myself that you can earn money on Firehow!

Fundraising Efforts for My Niece

My 13 year old niece, Desiree, has been accepted to take a summer trip (Marine Biology Lab) with her school. She is one of 10 chosen out of 200+ seventh and eighth grade students. She is only one of two seventh graders. I am beyond proud of my niece. Desiree has been a straight A student throughout school, has always taken advanced classes, and even received a presidential award for all of her school and life efforts. She is a giving and respectful thirteen years old, which would do anything to go on this trip.

This school trip is going to be in Florida. They will get to do a lot of activities with different sorts of marine biology. They will actually be staying on a large boat for a couple of the days, I would have loved that as a kid. The trip will be seven days. This is a trip that I know she will love and learn from. Desiree has shown a real interested in marine biology since she started school, and even before.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for my niece and I want to try to give her a chance to experience things that normally she would never be able to. The cost of the trip totaled $1600 and she has raised a little more than $1100 on her own. We have less than a month to raise the rest and I know every little bit matters. This is only one of my efforts to raise the rest.

Desiree has been through a lot this year; dad caught cheating, divorce of parents after 20 years, and a big move from Texas to Colorado. She is not my child, but I want to give her the world. She has worked so hard to be where she is, and for her to continue to do so well in school with everything going on, I am so proud of her. All of my online earnings for this month will go directly to the trip. Thank you all for looking and helping in any way.

New Single Mommy Blog

I am Writing an Ebook

The last few months have be so hectic that I have been putting off some areas of my online income, but because of it being so hectic I have learned a lot about making a very low income and being a single mom. This will be my first ebook, and I am a little scared about writing it. I feel I picked a topic that I have a lot of knowledge about through my son, my mom, and my sister. This project is not only about the money, but it would be great, I want to share things that I have learned. The book will be a guide of sorts, starting with maternity leave and hopefully ending with making the single mom want to improve her life. If anyone has any knowledge about things not to do, or big mistakes people make please let me know.

No I am not jumping into this without doing my research. I have considered writing an ebook for a couple of years, but I could never think of a topic that people would really want to read. I feel I am ready. I will keep everyone informed about this. I am just hoping that I do not get half way through the book and quit. I have done this in the past, but I am more determined than ever to do this!

Inboxdollars

Inboxdollars has been a site that I could make a little money on without a lot of effort. I made it a point to read the emails and do the searches every day. Now Inboxdollars has decided to change up there site and no longer send out there emails on a daily basis. Now you will receive one email a week and it only pays .02. I am actually very upset with the site. I went from making payout in a month or so to now maybe making it in 3-4 months. I am really reconsidering working with the site now. I have a few more dollars until payout then I think I will be putting my effort somewhere else, even though I never had to put much into it.

Still Earnings a Home Income

I am still working hard with my home income, I just have neglected my blogs. By the time I put in a couple of hours working on my writing and miscellaneous income sites, I am ready to call it a night. I am still focused on making a real income from home, I just have to make time to do it in addition to working full time and being a full time single mom. I am also starting school in August. I am hoping that I can be able to work from home by then, instead of working full time away from my son.

One of my biggest earners would have to be Mturk. On Mturk it is not a residual income, but it is one of my biggest incomes when I have time to do the HITs. There are a few things in the site that seem like they are not worth the time, but I have learned that making a few cents during my down time makes a big difference.

I had hit a writers block during the Holidays, and did not write much. Even though I did not submit a lot of new articles to any site I still made a decent residual income from Holiday articles that I had published the past few years. My writing motivation is back, and I will be submitting a lot of articles soon.

Motivation and determination is the key to anyone wanting to make an income from home. If you have both of these you will be able to succeed. Keep your focus on what you are wanting in life and go for it. No one said it would be easy to reach your goals in life, but it will be worth it when you reach your goals.

October is going Great

Octobers online earnings have actually been going great, I just have overlooked my blogs for the last month. I am still writing a few articles a week and working on a few other online income sources. The last few weeks I have struggled a bit, but I have still been working as much as I can to reach my personal online earning goals. My most profitable online income source would have to be Mturk and Yahoo Contributor Network. These two sites are giving me a little extra income each month, and all of the other things together is helping me pay a few bills.

Progress Report for September

I have not reached all of my goals that I was trying too with my Home Income, but life can get in the way sometimes. I have been doing pretty well though. I have updated two of my blogs a few times this month, I submitted quite a few articles on a variety of sites, Squidoo has been doing great, and I have been committing at least an hour 5 days a week to doing other activities that make money online. I know that I did not reach all of the home income goals, but I am happy with what I am accomplishing. I am trying to get a schedule down, but with a 4 month old baby and working full time, I am having a hard time adjusting.

I am proud of one of my Squidoo Lenses, Your AVON Business. This lens has been doing great on the site, and I have been earning a little money off of it each month. I am not making a killing or anything, but if I can copy the earnings onto a few more of my Squidoo lenses I would actually make a decent monthly earning on the site. I am working on adjusting a few of my older lenses and see if I can replicate the earnings.

I submitted a few articles to Yahoo, and made a few dollars in upfront payments. I submitted one article a few days ago that received more than 20 hits within a few hours of it being submitted. It has continued to get a lot of views each day and I am hoping it will get even better. The article is Work at Home Mistakes to Avoid. I have gotten views on the other articles as well, but the views on Work at Home Mistakes to Avoid continues to grow. I am happy with articles that people enjoy reading, and hopefully they find it helpful.

There was one other article that I recently submitted that is doing well, and I really enjoyed writing it. The article, Single Mom Living on a Single Income, is personal to me. The things that I share in the article is things that I personally do to survive as a single mom on a single income.

I just wanted to share an update with my progress on my home income. It is a work in progress. I wish I could go back to working online and making a few hundred a month. I am still making money, but since I have slacked off on doing my work I have not been making near as much. This definitely shows that the more work you submit online, the more money you will earn on a regular basis.
